Excellent seller, Fast ship, Great Communication Great to do business with.
Shipped on time arrived on time my son loves it! Thnx.
Son loves it and it is very well built!! An investment but no regretsn
Kid loves it and can't get enough time driving it.
The adjustable seat is great. And the cart runs really well. We are impressed with it so far. Shipping was fast as well.
I bought this for my 7 yr old kids to share for Christmas we got a deal on black Friday sale. it was nicely packaged bolt holes could be aligned better from factory. I took it out of the box put gas in it checked oil it was all good pushed run button turned on the gas pulled string 2 times it fired right up kids were excited. my 7 yr old got in put on seat belt gave it gas went in the flat grass and the cart slowed to a stop. that's when I noticed the gas pedal bolt that wont let it go to the floor so I adjusted it so now it will get full throttle yet it still wont go in the grass. I called customer service I talked to a lady she said clean the carb spray some fluid on the clutch watch the videos online so I did. still wont go in the grass but it goes well on the pavement that's where I notice 3 wheels are fully planted on the ground the front right is barley touching the ground. seams like qc should of caught this on the line. I called customer service again another lady answered I told her what I done this far to get it to move and the only way it moves is on the pavement and she said she talked to someone in tech and this is all normal. and if I wanted to return it that's fine. not I am sry to hear this or how can we try to make this right or anything. u got my money this time never again. I did look up on my own to see where there is a service center for this cart near me and I took it to them to check it out on my own dime they said that I got a moto go cart and it was In moto quality standards.
Great go kart for kids. Only issue was it came with a flat tire already blown out. Little disappointed that it arrived that way.
Poor customer service, parts break because of workmanship. Please beware, great safety concern, poor welding job on brake pedal causing my granddaughter to almost crash into car (parked car). Had to go and buy replacement bolts because of poor quality or missing bolts. Don't wast your time dealing with customer service, they really don't listen to you and then send you the wrong replacement parts and it also took three weeks waiting on parts that were the wrong ones. Bought three of the MM-B80s, one for each grandchild, had to buy bolts for all three and hire a welder to correct factory defects. I would never recommend anyone buy one of these. If you do, you better go over ever part of it. Your child's life could depend on it. Change that could to does. I wish I had read the reviews before we purchased them, as I would not have bought them and saved myself a lot of money. So customer, please be cautious.
Bought the small engine mini bike one year ago for one grandson. All was well. Now considering the Go Kart but after the reviews I am holding back. Immediate customer response, especially at a holiday is important. Hiring employees that are attentive to details is also very important in addition to a secondary inspection upon packing the bikes and gokarts for shipment.
Bought the gocart for Christmas. Opened the cart xmas eve and it would not run. Contacted costumer service and they told me to clean the carb. I mentioned the cart says on the box gas and go.... i had to run out before the stores closed and buy carb cleaner. I recontacted customer service and told them the flag will not stay together and the rear tire but is loose and does not have a cotter pin. Customer service told me they would send new ones and this was on Decemeber 27 and now it's January 21st.... I had to run out on xmas eve again and find a cotter pin so it could be enjoyed for Christmas morning. I receive calls from customer service to see if everything was going ok with the cart and I ask them what are they calling about and they have no idea they were just asking. The cart now stalls when my daughter stops so I am having to restart every time she stops. I also have rust on the frame and sent pictures in via email with no response after they told me they would call back when the pictures arrive. The clutch system does not give the cart enough power to start moving on a small hill also. I am always having to push her to make the cart move. I watched the video online and the cart looked awesome but I am feeling let down. Between myself and friends we purchased 4 carts and were excited about them but no so much..... maybe this will get to someone in the company that can help....
Bought the mmk80b for our son for Christmas on black Friday. Went to put it together and there was no bolts to attach the bumper and roll cage. We gave it to our son for Christmas but told him we would have to wait until the bolts got here. My wofe called and ordered the bolts they said they would send them. They never showed up. She called after a week or so and come to find out no one shipped them. After my wife spoke with a manager and going back and forth they said they would ship them. This was on January 8th. My son checks the mail box everyday hoping he can ride. Heck give me the size bolt and I will go buy them even though we shouldn't have to.
Bought this for my kids Christmas. Our daughter went to go for her first ride as she went to make her first turn I noticed a shift in the rear end. After a small investigation we discovered that the key, nut, and pin were not installed at all. Called customer support and discussed getting the parts sent out as the big box stores don't carry the nut with the correct thread pattern. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite, but seemed a bit confused as to what parts I needed. Needless to say the wrong parts were shipped to me. I called the again and spoke to a lady on Sunday. She couldn't help me and said that technical would need to call me back on Monday. It is now Wednesday and I still haven't heard from them. It is probably a neat product if it was functional. Unfortunately my children have only been able to sit in it for over two weeks as today is the 11th of January. A parts breakdown sheet might be a good idea in the future.
Is the turning radius adjustable? Please provide instruction on how this is accomplished.
This kart (and the MM-80 Mini Bike) is used by our 4 daughters, ages 15, 12, 9, & 7. We live in a residential area so they are only able to drive on paved roads, but we live in a secluded area with only 8 other houses. We post appropriate signage to let the neighbors know to keep an eye out while the kids are riding. They all love both products are these have been fantastic tools for teaching them basic riding/driving practices. I totally recommend the Kart!
A few points to other (potential) customers:
1. The factory tires are off-road tires and they will wear down fast on paved roads - look up authorized dealers in your area and check with them to see if they carry road/track grade replacements.
2. There is a bolt on the frame behind the gas pedal that will slowly back out - this can lead to the kart not moving - I put two bolts on each side of where it threads in to the frame to restrict its movement and control the max speed the kids are able to ride at.
PURCHASED FOR 8 YEAR OLD GRANDSON. EASY TO ASSEMBLE. RUNS GREAT. PERFECT SIZE AND SPEED. HE'S HAVING A BALL DRIVING IT. GREAT KART!
So gave this kart to my son yesterday for Christmas. Half the driving was around the grass yard other half in the street. After one tank of gas the rear tires only have 1/4 of the tread left... not sure what to do? I think the fixed rear axle is the biggest problem, whenever he turns, the back wheels have to drag a little to make up for the lack of a differential or not being a live axle..
Just purchased this go-kart and really want to give it a go! Just a little nervous about the verbiage in the manual that states the go-kart is not intended for gasoline with Ethanol blends. I was planning to use 93 Octane to extend the life of the engine, but from what I understand, all the gas where I live is now made with Ethanol? What do I do? I don't want to use gas with Ethanol if it will damage the engine. Please help! What other options do I have? Will I have to return this??
My son got this as a gift for Christmas he said "I'm the luckiest kid in the world"! He loves it.
Bought it on Black Friday 2016,,assembled it today getting it ready for a Christmas gift , Assembly of the roll bar and front bumper were relatively simply except one thing. The Roll Bar was not bent enough during manufacturing, thus aligning the bolts to secure it was impossible if trying to bend it by hand and trying to insert allen head bolt at the same time. I got a ratchet tie down strap, wrapped it on roll bar and slowly cranked it until roll bar was bent enough to insert both allen head bolts in to secure it. That was the only issue . Bending the roll bar by hand will be impossible to reshape it , so if someone comes across this situation, use a ratchet tie down strap and slowly crank it to reshape it to the position needed. I checked oil level, added fuel, on 2nd pull it started , sounds good,i pushed gas pedal a little bit, clutch engages,,,good to go! I'm sure grand daughter will enjoy it!
He just loved it. He rides almost everyday and on the weekends he spend the whole day around the car or driving it. The product is well made and has a nice speed for kids of his age. He enjoy driving it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oApIUQP_YKE
For the Monster Moto Go Cart, can you ride it on the road without a license. Or on a private road you don't need a license?
I got this for my then 8 yo son 2 years ago for Christmas. He was thrilled Christmas morning and it is still the go to toy. It s durable...no problems at all so far.
Ordered with no hassle and received promptly via truck. The only problem, which I corrected by drilling out the holes, was that the main roll-bar hoop did not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the frame. They were off just enough that I couldn't get the bolts up through the frame to go into the hoop. A few minutes with a drill elongated the holes and it went together OK. Now the problem is that the kid got to be very good at driving it and now it's too slow for his abilities, so he says. After the warranty runs out I think I'll install a more powerful motor.
I bought this for my daughter two years ago and she absolutely loves it!! The only issue we have had is the pull start has gone out 3 times and she has only ridden it maybe 10 times or so. The engine is strong and the kart is built well, I am just getting tired of having to buy new pull starts!!
Great little kart. Easy to set up and run with plenty of go-power. I don't think I've ever seen my 5 year old so happy driving it around the park in our neighborhood. We did hit a snag though. Our ornery neighbors complained and now we're stuck. Do you sell electric conversion kits? I'd be interested if you did or could.
My experience with the mm80 go kart has been awesome for my nine year old son!! However, he has had some issues. We have had to order a new rear axle; ticket number 06802. When ordering parts I ask for an owners / repair manual. Was told that one did not exist!!.. Can you send me the schematics of the mm80 go kart? Something that has parts list? This would be helpful when ordering parts! As I know a part by one name an it is listed as another... But same item, just different name.
Great little machine. The grandsons love riding this around the yard. it it will be a nice machine that will last through four boys.
Update to our review on May 10th. For others having the hard seat problem. We removed the seat and fixed it rite. We attached(glued) 2inchs of thicker foam to the inter seat. Then 1 inch of soft pad foam over top of that. Then we had our local canvas shop make me a water resistant seat cover that can be removed for cleaning. Grade total cost, $47.00 (the seat cover was $25.00). We tried the stadium cushion idea, and that helps. But it moves, so we upgraded on that idea. Yea, someone said we used a NASCAR idea for the seat.
We got this cart for our 7 yr old daughter. She has a small deformed right hand. So the thumb throttle or twist grip in the right side wouldn't work. Its a great cart for the $$. We looked at more expensive models with more off road type suspension. Maybe that would have been the better route to go. The problem we have is the seat. There is No padding what so ever. And she can only ride for a little bit before her back side is sore. Probably on asphalt or concrete this wouldn't be such a problem. But in the grass in our yard it is. Over all its 3.5 out of 5 in my book.
save your money... I purchased one for my nephew for christmas ,,, did not start from day one ... called customer service numerous times no answer ... finally brought small engine repair shop diagnosis bad carburetor .. remember this is brand new right from the create...
Hey I'm 11 years old I'm turning 12 next month and wondering if a 12 year old can fit I'm looking for a real fast go kart it needs to be tall like a real one and easy to drive I want the speed to be (at least the max 12-18)
We got it for our 9 year old (75lbs) for Christmas. Due to bad weather, we are just now unpacking and putting all together to let him ride. When we got it together, checked it over, checked oil and added gas. Cranked it and let it run for a few minutes, lifted it and pushed on the gas, to make sure all was in good working order. He took off on it and didn't even make a full loop around our field before we had to go push him up a slight incline. Then as he got back on flat surface, the chain came off, as we inspected it, the sprocket was not stable (it moved back and forth) and could not see a way to make it stable. Looks as if there is a grooved area in the middle of the sprocket, but didn't want to mess with it considering that it was brand new.
I bought this for my 7 and 11-year-old grandkids. They love it! The power is just about right because you don't want too much power for them to get hurt. It's well built and sturdy. So far so good.
I bought this go kart for my kids and they absolutely love it. They have had great fun on the machine and it has been very reliable.
This is getting worse. I am not getting any help despite calling multiple times.. The cart won't pull my 40lb. up even the slightest grade. i have cleaned the card, taken off the clutch and lubed it. Still nothing. I call and get no help. I am going to ship it back to yall and do an AMEX chargeback - which I have never done before.
Two new carts out of the box. No pulling power what so ever. My kids are 70 pounds each and it want even pull them across the yard. Any suggestions? Which screws adjust as the governor?
Bought this kart for my kids Christmas 2105. It looks great and appears to be built well. It cranked immediately and engine sounds good. However, first time out we are not able to ride it. The kart lacks enough torque to even pull my 50 lb. son up a slight grade. It works fine on flat surfaces or downhill but cannot go uphill at all. I called customer service and the guy was nice and helpful. He immediately advised me to clean the carburetor. That let me know this must happen a lot. Also the online video should have been a clue. He said that would be part of my normal maintenance anyway. That is fine but should it part of my maintenance before my first use? The price was good but maybe add a little more to it and have that done before you send it to me. I cannot think of ANYTHING else I have ever bought that needed work before the first use! My kids are inside disappointed while I schlep outside to break down the fuel system on a brand new $699 toy. Something is wrong with this picture.
Bought this Go-Kart last Christmas for my niece. She and her sister and a couple friends (all girls) love riding it. Haven't had any problems with it. Actually used a paperclip on the governor linkage to get it to go 30 mph which the girls love. The little engine is tough and enjoys being let loose. They all ride safe with the right protective gear. I did my homework before I picked this kart. With proper maintenance, I expect the girls will enjoy several years riding. Remember. Keep the oil changed, use the recommended fuel, and keep the chain tension adjusted per the owner's manual.
Purchased this go kart for my son in Dec 2014 for Christmas, my son was excited. We took it out Christmas day for a quick drive, it ran good no issues. Due to the cold weather my son didn't ride it very much until late Feb/ early March. We took it out Easter Sunday, when we rolled it out of the garage one of the tires was flat, would not hold air but now will only hold air for 24hrs or so, but the kids rode it for a while, the throttle cable snapped, and the bolt that holds the roll bars to the frame completely fell out, I called up today to try to get replacement parts and, come to find out only a 90 day warranty on it! So now I have to purchase parts that broke from normal riding and my son has only driven it a handful of times. So because it was purchased in Dec but sat for a couple months until it got warmer now I'm out of warranty and have to pay for my replacement parts. I am not happy bout it!! now my son has to wait even longer before he can ride his Christmas gift. Hasn't been a good experience, and now my son isn't happy with his gift either.
Bought it from Amazon and received today. Very good packaging and my boy was all excited for his birthday gift. Except, after putting fuel and trying everything, it just won't start. Called up customer service, gave all the details to register the vehicle and then was told to watch the videos on the website to clean up carburetor etc! Never had such issues with other such machines including my lawn mower, snow blower and so on.
Purchased for my 9 year old for christmas 2014 . the piece at the bottom of steering shaft has broke bc its made of cheap plastic and the pullcord broke also . She only has less than 10 hours on it. Seems to b safe and well built other than that
I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas this year. AWSOME!!! is all I can say. I purchased it online on Monday morning and it was delivered to my home on Wednesday evening. The go-kart was very well packaged and came in a metal cage covered by a cardboard box. You will need a 1/2 socket to take apart the cage to get to the go-kart. The go cart frame is very well built and worth every penny. There is not another product on the market at or below this price that is better. I was able to squeeze into the go-kart to give it a "Test drive" and I am 5'10" 240 lbs it was pretty fast and AWSOME!! I highly recommend this product.
I bought this for my 5yr old daughter, she loves it, but wish's it was faster. :) It is like a rolling tank for her. I wish it had shocks for her to soak up the big bumps. Sadly already had to have MM send me a new pull cord assembly after 3 days of use. Now after 1.5months the little kart wont start or starts and dies w/o the choke on even after warm up. To fragile/tempermental equipement. The cheap throw together karts I had as a kid ran like beasts with no problems even after much hard & tough abuse.
I think its great! You should get this kart! had it for only a day but can't get away from it!
I bought this go kart for my 11 year old son and it does not go to fast and it is very safe but just perfect
Great fun – and it worked perfectly. So far. The kids are enjoying it and haven’t crashed yet. I hope it is safe.
I got this go-kart for my nephew and he does nothing but spend his time outside riding around in this thing. It goes at a safe speed (has a governor). I purchased one of these from the company’s website and I’m glad to see them on Amazon too. They’re great fun for younger kids and you almost get jealous watching them enjoy it so much. If you have a boy or girl who’s under about 12 they’ll fit fine in it. It’s decked out in netting which seems to keep my nephew clean from all the dirt outside. If you’re considering buying a similar product, I urge you to check out this kart first.
